AuthorHouse Authors in the Spotlight features MM Silva, whose debut novel was awarded a coveted Blue Star from Kirkus Reviews
Do you know what a viatical insurance policy is? Most of us would just shrug our shoulders at the term. For AuthorHouse author and insurance industry professional Mary Silva, it opened up a whole new world of intrigue and espionage that eventually became her book, Two Out of Three.
Two Out of Three is so good it earned a coveted Blue Star from Kirkus Reviews. Kirkus is regarded as the industry’s toughest reviewers and the Blue Star is their highest accolade. This was “a huge thrill and very gratifying,” says Silva. It has held more significance in that “Being self-published, this has definitely added an air of credibility to my book and will be a wonderful snippet for the back of the next novel in my series.”
Silva also talks about her book marketing strategies and her future book projects in her AuthorHouse Author’s Digest article. Her heroine from Two Out of Three, Meagan Maloney should be making a return soon in the second in the series.
